    I was born in Amarillo, Texas and have always lived here with the exception of my college years at Southern Methodist University and my time in the military. I established STEED FINANCE COMPANY in 1957(51 years ago) and have operated it since that time with the help of my wife, Diane. In the beginning, all of my financing was in Amarillo. In 1963, I began buying, selling and financing Colorado land. Investment tracts, riverfront land, trout fishing land, hunting land, mountain land, building sites, farm land, and ranch lands are what I have!
